2013 – 2016 Years of improvement and modernization
The recent years of our business operations have been marked by the current market and regulatory changes which significantly altered the business environment in the Serbian pharmaceutical market and set new demands on all participants in the supply chain of drugs. The optimization of business in the form of improving the efficiency of business processes and rationalizing costs is imperative for us which is attainable only by introducing innovative technologies in business operations and by personnel training.
Farmalogist is recognized as a leader on the Serbian pharmaceutical market in the development of new ways of communication with customers and suppliers, heavily relying on modern information technology. In early 2015, we introduced a new information system Microsoft Dynamics AX – a solution that is integrated with the tools that have already become a standard working environment for every Farmalogist employee. Natural integration with Office, Exchange, Outlook, Share Point Portal, CRM and similar solutions has enabled the creation of highly efficient working environment adapted to the role each employee has in the working process.
In February 2016, we opened a new warehouse on Mirijevski Boulevard in Belgrade, which, being adapted and modernized, meets all rigorous requirements of good distribution practice in the field of distribution of drugs and medical devices, and is another success of our company.
As a wholesaler that is traditionally oriented towards the introduction of modern technologies in business, we put into operation a semi-automatic warehouse in Belgrade in September 2016, which at full capacity serves more than 1,500 health care institutions. The warehouse is equipped with KNAPP conveyer (“conveying system”) and RF terminals controlled by the advanced information systems, which help to optimize the control of all storage processes.
We are especially focused on the storage and expedition of goods from the “cold chain” regime, so we have invested significant resources in the acquisition and qualification of storage equipment, vehicles, containers, and systems for monitoring and recording of the temperature conditions, thus ensuring that the drugs of the “cold chain” regime are kept and distributed under the prescribed conditions.
The activation of a semi-automatic warehouse will be done in the business center of Novi Sad by the end of 2017.
We have launched Connectur@ 2.0 – a new version of the software enriched with various options and functionalities developed in order to increase speed and efficiency in pharmacies.
Any change is a challenge to Farmalogist, and its successful implementation is a step forward towards achieving our vision of a reliable and secure partner in the Serbian pharmaceutical market.
